A team of professionals in the field of Food Contact Materials (FCMs) and consumer goods has come together to create this project, aiming to promote a culture of quality in the processes and products of companies across the entire production chain.

We provide your company with a blend of specialized skills and diverse attitudes, offering a full, comprehensive and tailor-made service for your products.

Our team boasts decades of experience in FCMs, sustainability, and quality management and assurance systems, both mandatory and voluntary, including GMP (EU Reg. 2023/2006) and industry standards such as ISO 22000, BRCGS and FSSC 22000.

Our services range from GMP compliance audits to LCA studies, including personalised risk assessments based on your products and processes. We identify opportunities for improvement to enhance both product safety and quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Eleonora Schiavi

Born in Pisa, where she obtained a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences.

Since 2017, she has been actively involved in the field of Food Contact Materials (FCMs), primarily focusing on legislative studies related to mandatory regulations at the national, European, and international levels. She provides regulatory consulting and conducts studies on Green Claims and environmental labeling of packaging, assessing the required compliance for target countries, with particular attention to Italian legislation.

For this reason, she obtained the qualifications of Green Packaging Expert and Green Packaging Claim in 2022 from the Italian Packaging Institute.

She has gained experience in managing corporate Quality Systems and laboratories in compliance with UNI EN ISO 17025, as well as in quality control related to analytical data management and uncertainty assessment.

Melissa Ferrari

Born in Orzinuovi (Brescia), she obtained a diploma as a Chemical Expert with a qualification in Quality Control for Food Production and Commercialization.

She worked for over 10 years as a laboratory technician specializing in food and packaging analysis, developing a strong dedication and meticulous attention to laboratory quality management systems and certified systems.

A member of FCS since its inception, Melissa provides consultancy on management systems for companies producing food contact materials and objects. She also conducts risk assessments for food contamination during processing in production plants, leveraging her extensive experience in the food sector.

She obtained the Food Contact Expert qualification in 2015 and became a Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 in 2021.

Elisabetta Silvestrini

Born in Sassari, she graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies. She began her career at the CNR in Florence, gaining experience abroad, and then in the analytical field and in technical-scientific support in the Food sector at a leading multinational company in the TIC sector. In 2013 she became a Food Contact Expert and started working in the field of Food Contact and Product Safety thanks to her experience in regulatory affairs and her laboratory knowledge.

She has more than 10 years of experience in Food Contact both from an analytical and regulatory perspective, participating in various Conferences and Trade Fairs also as a speaker, particularly on the topics of microplastics and recycled plastics. She has been responsible for the Food Contact and Product Safety sector both from an operational and technical-consulting point of view.

Francesca Lomastro

Born in Giussano (MB), after earning a degree in Food Science and Technology, she embarked on an exciting 12-year journey as a Food Contact Laboratory Technician, gaining valuable expertise in regulatory matters related to Food Contact Materials (FCMs).

She then pursued a brief but insightful experience in General Product Safety, with a specific focus on Toy and Gadget Safety.

She continued her career in the Regulatory field, with a specific focus on plastic materials, and joined FCS to handle regulatory affairs and customer support.

Lisa Filindassi

Born in Florence, she earned a degree in Biotechnology and began her career as a microbiological laboratory technician in a pharmaceutical company. After spending several years in quality control laboratories analyzing a wide range of matrices, she shifted her focus to the study of FCM legislation. Over time, she became a key reference for companies in the field of food contact materials and objects, bridging regulatory requirements with technical needs on a global scale.

She obtained the Food Contact Expert qualification in 2011 and actively participates in working groups, European associations, and technical committees. Since 2015, she has been an active member of CFREP, a European association linked to EuPC, which provides in-depth analysis and proactive contributions to regulatory developments, with a particular focus on polymeric materials.

Marinella Vitulli

Born in Viareggio (Lucca), she is a Chemist registered with the National Order of Chemists and Physicists. She specializes in materials and packaging, focusing on regulations, process evaluation, and risk assessment. She holds the qualifications of LCA Expert and Food Contact Expert and has expertise in various certification schemes applicable to companies in the sector.

She began her career at the University of Pisa as a researcher in food and pharmaceutical chemistry, later taking on various roles in quality control, research and development, and the management of third-party testing laboratories.

She collaborates with associations and technical committees to define rules for global risk assessment of food contact materials. Additionally, she is a qualified TTR Auditor for conducting GMP audits accredited by Accredia according to ISO 17020.
