Microplastics in KBr tablets – FCS-PT2026_01
0.00€
This interlaboratory proficiency test (PT) involves identifying and counting microplastics embedded in potassium bromide (KBr) tablets prepared by Food Contact Services.
The tablets contain particles of several polymers (including polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, PET and PVC) in a range of sizes.
Laboratories must identify the polymer type and count the particles by size class, using the analytical technique of their choice.
This makes it possible to compare laboratory performance on the same sample, in line with ISO/IEC 17043.
